The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the provisional answer key for the SSC GD Constable 2025 examination held from February 4 to 25, 2025. Candidates can now access their response sheets and the tentative answer keys to evaluate their performance.Steps to Download the SSC GD 2025 Answer Key
1. Visit the Official SSC Website:o Go to ssc.gov.in.
2. Navigate to the Answer Key Section:o On the homepage, click on the “Answer Key” tab.
3. Select the Relevant Notification:o Find and click on the link titled “Uploading of Tentative Answer Keys along with Candidates’ Response Sheet(s) for Constable (GD) in CAPFs, SSF, Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles, and Sepoy in NCB Examination – 2025.”
4. Log In to Your Account:o Use your Registration Number and Password to log in.
5. Access the Answer Key and Response Sheet:o Once logged in, you’ll be able to view and download your response sheet along with the provisional answer key.Challenging the Provisional Answer Key:If you find discrepancies or have objections to any answer provided in the provisional answer key, you can raise challenges during the specified period.
Here’s how:1. Log In to Your Account:o Access the SSC portal using your credentials.
2. Navigate to the Objection Submission:o Click on the “Answer Key Challenge” option under the “My Applications” section.
3. Select Questions to Challenge:o Choose the question(s) you wish to challenge and provide a justification or reference for your objection.
4. Pay the Objection Fee:o A fee of ₹100 per question is required. Ensure you complete the payment process online.
5. Submit Your Objections:o After completing the above steps, submit your objections.Important Dates:•
Objection Window: Candidates can submit their objections from March 4, 2025 (6:00 PM) to March 9, 2025 (6:00 PM).

The Commandant- General, the Deputy Commandant- General and such officers as the Commandant-General may appoint on his staff. The Home Guards constituted for each district shall consist of 8 Comman-dant, a Second-in-Command, Senior Divisional Commanders, Divisional Commanders, Company Commanders, Senior Platoon Commanders, Platoon Commanders, Sergeant-Majors, Quarter Master Sergeants, Platoon Sergeants, Section Leaders, Assistant Section Leaders and Sections consisting of twelve Home Guards. Three sections shall form a platoon, three platoons a company and at least three companies a division. A unit may have more than one Division. The Home Guards aforesaid shall also consist of such staff officers as the Commandant, with the approval of the State Government, determine.
Odisha Home Guard Functions and duties[
(1) Thedischarge the following functions and duties namely
(i) to help the police in maintaining law and order and internat security during any emergencywhen-called out for service in aid of the police;(ii) to render assistance during narural änd other calamities, such as, earthquake, floods, famine and fire for protection of persons and their property ;(iii) to operate transport, communicatıons, eiectricity, waier añd o ther essential services when the normal services are not functioning ;(iv) to collect and communicate any. information relating to the breach of public peace to the local police.(V) to prevent the commission of offences and public nuisances (vi) to obtain and communicate the officer- in-charge of the poliće-station, correct information about criminals, criminal classes, vagrants and wandering gangs, persons residing in or passing through the police-station ; to assist the police in queiling communal disturbances, and(vii) industrial and internal disorders;(viii) to assist the police in maintaining law and order in fairs,festivals and big gatherings;(ix) to assist the civil defence organisation during the national emergency ;(x) to guard vuinerable pointsļareas, lines of communication bridges, embankments, etc., as and when necessary;(xi) to watch and report forthwith to the local police the namesof the persons who may be found engaged or taking part in activities which are anti-social in nature or prejudicial or subversive to the interest of the Union; and(xii) such other functions and duties as may be assigned to them from time to time by the State Government in consultation with the Commandant-General.]
